Whereas with a regular watch you might still have a brand name with Nike or Fossil, but chances are the watch will be made out of cheaper materials. Remember, cheaper doesn't necessarily mean lower in quality, it simply means they might choose to use plastic or PVC instead of stainless steel and diamonds! These are also going to be less in price, but they also might not last as long either. Also, when you buy watches you have to consider what the watch is going to go through when it’s involved in your type of lifestyle.
Someone might be able to afford a Cartier, but they might want something a little less "dainty" and a little more durable like that of the Chase Durer watches or Techno Marine. These are still awesome watches, they simply are going to be made for use and function rather than aesthetically pleasing beautifications like a Cartier watch!
