It’s a Hummer! No! It’s a Hummer Wristwatch

When you see a Hummer cruising down the street, you always turn your head around to catch another glimpse of the prestigious off-road truck. TechnoMarine, a manufacturer of luxury fashion timepieces introduced an exceptional Hummer watch, inspired by the famous vehicle.

This beautiful watch, just like the hummer itself, features an oversized 43mm case, but runs on a much more economic fuel system. The rubber strap is made of tire-tread rubber strap for maximum durability.

The unique piece also features a black dial with white superluminova Arabic numerals and rotating Hummer rim at 6 o clock. Its Swiss quartz movement and water resistance to 100M will make sure this little Hummer is as powerful as his bigger brother.

The TechnoMarine Hummer XSMSH is now featured at www.bacario.com.

How to really clean a watch?

If you’re interested to get to know the inside of your watch and give it a seriously thorough clean – take it apart.

You’ll need a clean workspace, a small and delicate screwdriver set, tweezers and remember to breathe regularly. Work with the watch manual, especially if it has cleaning instruction.

Use special watch cleaner solution and soak the parts and screws that you take off, one by one, in their order, so you won’t mix them up later. Clean the parts with a small brush and make sure they get dry.

If you are really brave, you can also oil the inside springs, hands and basically take the entire thing apart and soak it in the cleaner. But we’re not going to tell you how. We don’t need any angry emails…

How to clean a watch?

If you want your watch to have a long, prosperous life, you should clean it every now and then. A wristwatch tends to get dirty from dust and dirt and even from sweat and body oil. When a watch is dirty it wears faster. This is true to every part of the watch, from the bracelet to the crown. So how to clean a watch?

When your watch’s bracelet gets dirty and sticky, you need to detach the bracelet and let is soak in soapy water for a couple of hours. When you finish soaking, scrub the bracelet, the links, and hinges on both sides and remove the icky residue.

If you can not remove the watch bracelet and your watch is not waterproof – take it to a watchmaker or jeweler and let them do the work for you.

Same goes for the crown. If there is dirt, it can get into your case and destroy the inside. You should detach the crown and let it soak. If you think you can handle taking your watch apart, make sure you know what you are doing and how to put it back. If not – take it to a jeweler or a watchmaker.
